Applying Educational Tech EDLD 5320
Fall, 2023
This reflection makes me go to where this dream began. And where I am right now, I think about years ago. When I just came to this country. I had no professional goals, and the most significant barrier was the language. I only knew a little English. And now, I am finishing my first EDLD program.
There have been challenges, and I heard negative thoughts saying you will not get it. When I came to the United States, I faced the challenge of learning a new language. Without a doubt, it represented a wall of fear in me. However, I have been learning that Our brains change according to our actions and beliefs. DigitalLearning and leading the DLL program gave me ownership and voice to understand the project. This course gave me the keys to understanding essential information about the research and reflection on COVA implementation.
Also, our mindset is the key to taking challenges and being open to saying the power of can and will do it. It will not be easy, but I am getting the knowledge. We learned many things in this course—the importance of reflecting during the end of the implementation plan. At the adult professional level, its effect on one’s development in an organization cannot be understated. It is part of what inspired me to proceed with my Innovation Plan in my organization and execute the research.
During this program, I collaborated with other colleagues, and we discussed the research and shared ideas, making this online learning experience more enjoyable and engaging.
In addition, we participated in the discussion course to communicate and share experiences. During this course, I joined a collaboration group with Adonay Briceno daily. We collaborated on Zoom. A true collaboration was being open to all team members' suggestions, critiques, and ideas. Also, we shared information through email and Zoom meetings and commented on each other’s posts in the discussion group. Also, we continued to chat in our wasap group, including rosmery vera and Lourdes zarraga. This was a great experience sharing innovation experiences, developing our blended learning plan, supporting collaborative work with as many possible resources, and participating in the discussion forum. Unfortunately, I worked in a district far away, and it was challenging to be on time to connect to all the meetings. At this point, I will determine the numerical self-assessment score for education. However, d. I have in Applying Educational Tech EDLD 5320 87 out of 100
