NEW CULTURE OF LEARNING

Creating a significant learning environment is crucial to the success of our students, a new culture of learning. As an educator , I have reached the determination . Learning at its core, is exploring and discovering. Most importantly, for years we have been seeing how education has experienced changes.

According to ( Thomas and Brown, 2011 )  Learning in this manner would be okay , as we go deeper into the digital age, It is becoming more necessary for students to engage in learning that caters to real life.

Education has continued to advance in recent years,  the model of teaching to a new model of learning(Thomas et al,2011). I am not saying that the traditional teaching does not work but combining them to do blended learning.   Our growing technology will allow  us to learn at a quicker and more effective pace. as Douglas Thomas states: “there are three different fundamental elements about a new culture of learning, those are  passion, imagination and constraint”.

Most importantly open badge systems are built on the premise that learning happens everywhere in the classroom , at home , at museums and libraries or on street corners, we need to make sure we provide multiple ways to engage and grow digital learners, capturing  the hearts and minds if care about building learners of tomorrow , we must adopt a model where students are giving the to explorer their individual talents .this better prepare our students for life . To grow and encourage them to achieve their study goals ,  I will do it focusing on creating a significant learning environment based on passion, imagination and the power of yet .

I believe   Education is most effective when students have the chance to learn not only at school or home, but in a variety of settings . Or Students are able to explore and discover all different types of information, wherever they go, wherever they are. Learning can and should be a top notch priority for all educators, and this can be done in our new culture of learning.

According to ( Linda S. . Gravett and Sheri A. ) Caldwell discusses the impact learning cultures can have on attracting and retaining top talent, as well as the organization  face when they don’t make learning a priority .

By returning to play as a modality of learning, we can see how a world in constant flux is no longer a challenge or hurdle to overcome; it becomes a limitless resource to engage, stimulate, and cultivate the imagination. Our argument brings to the fore the old aphorism "imagination is more important than knowledge." In a networked world, information is always available and getting easier and easier to access. Imagination, what you actually do with that information, is the new challenge.

Therefore challenges are to be expected in all aspects and , in my opinion, should be welcomed as opportunities to learn and grow . As a teacher in my second year of teaching my goal will be  , push forward with my current innovation plan or future goal . That is what I would like  to implement and improve reading.

It is important to recognize one of the shortfalls or challenges and learn how to do better and improve myself. I believe that obstacles in this particular case, started from personal and organizational. On the personal side where I try to have a proactive classroom , Where I hope to have the correct influence. The challenges here will most likely be with my students who often resist  changes or one thing very important.

As a teacher , one of my personal concerns in this school year is ,  my students are not in the corresponding grade level in reading , for many reasons they are struggling. Adding to that the poor communication with some of the parents , who show not interested in their children’s  learning.  I believe that I will address those challenges implementing CSLE + COVA  creating an effective learning environment in which I will prepare learners for life not just for the test  , also I need to make sure to  provide multiple ways to grow digital learners and readers .

Thriving in  today’s  fast changing world requires a lot of skills that are in fact interconnected . teamwork , critical thinking , communication , persistence and creativity  This interplay of skills is central to the educational strategies needed to help young people to cultivate them.

Currently there are changes in at least three notable domains with major implications for education : technology , work and globalization. Within each of these domains there is the solution for a better world to get  more connected to the new culture of learning .

As a matter of fact , another important key to value and provide benefit in our organization and work environment. As an educator, collaboration is a way to succeed. In the classroom , team worker , workflows become smoother . Thi is the chance to share ideas, problem solving . “ I truly  believe in the power of working together .

Whatever stage we are in our organization , classroom , career , there is always something you can learn or pass on to others” .
