Aligning Outcomes, Activities, and Assessments

In creating a significant learning environment, outcomes, activities, and assessments must be aligned. Educators must carefully evaluate their learning environment and situational factors before creating significant learning goals and using backward design to develop a course or unit.
It is about more than collecting the dots, allowing our learners to connect with their learning ( Godin,2012). Outcomes activities and assessments should be aligned with foundational knowledge, application, integration, and learning. (Fink, n.d.) in order for significant learning to occur.
According to Fink’s guide (2018), I have created a 3 column table that outlines the learning goal for my innovation plan.
