I think about years ago. I had no professional goals, and the most significant barrier was the language. I knew a little English. I am working in my first year as a teacher and studying to reinforce this EDL Degree program.
There have been challenges, and I heard negative thoughts saying you will not get it. When I came to the United States, I faced the challenge of learning a new language. Without a doubt, it represented a wall of fear in me. However, I have been learning that Our brains change according to our actions and beliefs.
This course led me to create and effectively apply an innovative teaching practice by collaborating with colleagues to evaluate their impact on learners and design and model authentic professional learning (PL) activities that are active, have a significant duration, and are specific to their discipline, to support continues improvement and career development. Exploring professional opportunities.
During this course, I collaborated to explore and analyze examining their thinking and talking with others about the impact of the learning environments that they have created is one of the most important things they can do to improve their learner’s achievement with other colleagues, and we discussed the course's topics and shared ideas, making this online learning experience more enjoyable and engaging. Also, we shared resources and relevant information to support and create alternatives. Professional plan: we also participated in the discussion course to communicate and share experiences. During this course, I joined a collaboration group with Adonay Briceno daily. We collaborated on Zoom. A true collaboration was being open to all team members' suggestions, critiques, and ideas. Also, we shared information through email, zoom meetings and commented on each other’s posts in the discussion group. Also, we created a wasap group including rosmery vera and Lourdes zarraga. This was a great experience sharing innovation experiences, developing our knowledge and skills to facilitate supporting collaborative work with as many possible resources and participating in the discussion forum.
At this point, I will determine the numerical self-assessment score, and this is my first master's in education. However, I am trying to do my best, and I will keep improving in areas where it is needed. I have in Applying Educational Tech EDLD 5389 94 out of 100.
